Nellie K Neves
Sweet Romance, Romantic Suspense
Nellie is a self-proclaimed country girl from Northern, California, USA. When she’s not writing or reading, she can typically be found baking up a new culinary delight in the kitchen, possibly barefoot while singing show tunes. Sometimes she’s even on key. She grew up around horses and other farm animals and enjoys long conversations with her chickens on her small ranch. Nellie loves kickboxing, dancing and jogging, and all of these tend to weasel into her writing one way or another. She was diagnosed with Mulitple Sclerosis in 2012 and vowed to leave no regrets. She’s a warrior and advocate for research into MS and other auto immune diseases. Nellie feels awareness is equally important. Most evenings are spent as a wife and mother, watching the sunset and dreaming of a character’s next adventure.

Deb Goodman
Closed Door Rom Com
Deb Goodman’s obsession with the written word started at age three, when she realized the old-timey newsprint wallpaper in her family’s bathroom had actual words on it. The only problem? By the time she learned to read a couple of years later, the wallpaper had been replaced with something else—boring, non-worded wallpaper—and to this day, she still doesn’t know what it said.
Now, she and her husband and four children live in Utah. They love sports, music, and doing slightly insulting, pretend voices for their little shorkie, Mavis.
Deb writes funny, small-town romance that you won’t need to shield your kids’ eyes from. Billionaires, friends-to-more, enemies-to-more, cowboys, fake relationships…there’s something for everyone here!
Writing lovey dovey books comes naturally to Deb since, to her, there’s nothing better than reading and writing about how two people fall in love.

Kaela Rivera
Middle Grade and YA Fantasy
Kaela Rivera was raised to believe in will-o’-the-wisps and el chupacabra, but even ghost stories couldn’t stop her from reading in the isolated treetops, caves, and creeks of Tennessee’s Appalachian forests.
She still believes in the folktales of her Mexican-American and British parents, but now she writes about them from the adventure-filled mountains of the Wild West. When she’s not crafting stories, she’s using her English degree from BYU-I as an editor for a marketing company (or secretly doodling her characters in the margins of her notebook).
Her biggest hope is to highlight and explore the beauty of cultural differences—and how sharing those differences can bring us all closer.

S.L. McMullin
Paranormal Romance
I write paranormal romance. Imagination runs thick in my veins. It has been my life force since birth. However, due to the encouragement of Creative Writing and English teachers in my early years, I gave up any aspirations of becoming a writer. It wasn't until I was in my thirties that I rediscovered my passion for writing. In one year, I wrote over 450 pages, thus finishing my first manuscript. It then took me another nine years to develop and cultivate my literary voice. And yet a title still eluded me. Doubt, lack of a title, and lack of confidence and knowledge of the industry kept me from moving forward. It wasn't until I decided to separate the book into two and write three more to go along with it that I finally found my direction. It was an amazing enough accomplishment to finally publish my first book, but to publish a second one that same year, followed by the third one year later, was overwhelmingly exhilarating.
I read: Anything fantasy, action, ghostly, paranormal, regency, and romance.
My interests: I am also an artist and teach painting classes. I love anything outdoors, especially Montana. I like bike rides, spending time with my family, and writing—it brings me such freedom.

John Owen Wilde
Sci-Fi Fantasy
John Owen Wilde graduated from Brigham Young University (BYU) with a Bachelors of Art degree in the field of Communications. His studies included photography and cinematography, while also studying the various art mediums of watercolor, oil painting, and pottery. While living in New Zealand, John admired the Polynesian carving and has since collected several carvings and enjoys carving masks himself.
A native Utahan, John grew up in a farming community and thinks he has put up enough hay to fill Dodger Stadium. Because of his rural youth, he enjoys artwork by painters and photographers who depict rural America.
While attending Dixie Collage, John became intrigued with the motion picture industry. Finding his best option to pursue an education in cinematography, he transferred to BYU. While attending BYU he was able to participate in several university film projects. Upon graduation, John found employment in Salt Lake City with Schick Sunn Classic Pictures, where he learned the skills of post sound editing.
After several years in Utah, John finally fled to Hollywood, where he worked at Dimension Sound and other post sound companies over the next twenty years. Some of the memorable shows he worked on are Moonlighting and The New Mike Hammer Show. Feature movies included Sweet Hearts Dance, Pretty Woman, Look Who’s Talking Now, Independence Day, and Life. Several times during those years his shows were nominated for Golden Globe and Emmys, but unfortunately no winner there
.
When it was time to retire, John and his wife Kristine moved to Utah, where he now resides. While in retirement, he decided it was a good time to fulfill his desire to create his own science fiction and fantasy novels. Having enjoyed reading the works of such authors as Robert Heinlein, Isaac Asimov, Roger Zelazny, L. E. Modesitt, Jr., and of course J. R. R. Tolkien, John pulled inspiration for his own writings. Some contemporary authors he enjoys reading and finds inspiration in are Jack Campbell, Tony Healey and Jean Jackson.
John and his wife Kristine have four children and have married for 46 years. Since returning to Utah, they have enjoyed living close to family and the slower lifestyle.

Kate Condie
Historical Western Romance
Kate Condie is a speed talker from Oregon. Reading has been part of her life since childhood, where she devoured everything from mysteries, to classics, to autobiographies—and of course, romance. At first, her writing was purely in journal format as she thought writing novels was for the lucky ones. In her free time she reads, tries to learn a host of new instruments, binge watches anything by BBC or tries to keep up with Lafayette as she sings the Hamilton soundtrack.
